During the recent state legislative session, House Bill 101, Emergency Injection for Anaphylactic Reaction Act, was passed.
A summary letter, the official training policy, the Epinephrine Auto Injector (EAI) Authorization Form, and a copy of HB 101 and the house amendments are available for download to the right.
Training modules are also available at the Utah American Red Cross and in the EMT Basics Module for private citizens and organizations who fulfill the requirements and demonstrate a need to be trained. Refer to HB 101 for more details on this.
Thank you to Utah State Representative Todd E. Kiser, the Utah Department of Health, and other individuals who supported this vital legislation!
